Sydney: Royal National Park Coastal Hike, Rainforest, Picnic

Epic coastal hike, lagoon swim and picnic in Royal National Park, all in one day. Very small groups, flexible itinerary, and a rare mix of coast, rainforest and lagoon. Designed and hosted by Sabina, with a focus on relaxed, personal days in nature, not rushed tours. We start with pickup from Sydney and head into Royal National Park. From there, we hike to either Wedding Cake Rock or Eagle Rock, with sandstone cliffs, coastal tracks and wide ocean views. After the hike, we slow down at Wattamolla Lagoon for a relaxed picnic with local cheeses, fresh fruit and drinks. Swim if you feel like it, or just take it all in. We then explore one of the park’s oldest rainforest trails, surrounded by ferns, palms and towering eucalyptus. On the way back, we take the Grand Pacific Drive and stop at Sea Cliff Bridge for one last coastal view. Around 8 km, moderate. The pace is flexible and the day adapts to you. A full day in nature that often becomes the highlight of your time in Sydney.
